A very beautiful poem on today's fast life.

Har khushi Hai Logon Ke Daman Mein,
Par Ek Hansi Ke Liye Waqt Nahi.
Din Raat Daudti Duniya Mein,
Zindagi Ke Liye Hi Waqt Nahi.
Maa Ki Lori Ka Ehsaas To Hai,
Par Maa Ko Maa Kehne Ka Waqt Nahi.
Saare Rishton Ko To Hum Maar Chuke,
Ab Unhe Dafnane Ka Bhi Waqt Nahi.
Saare Naam Mobile Mein Hain,
Par Dosti Ke Liye Waqt Nahi.
Gairon Ki Kya Baat Karen,
Jab Apno Ke Liye Hi Waqt Nahi.
Aankhon Me Hai Neend Badee,
Par Sone Ka Waqt Nahi.
Dil Hai Gamon Se Bhara,
Par Rone Ka Bhi Waqt Nahi.
Paison ki Daud Me Aise Daude,
Ki Thakne ka Bhi Waqt Nahi.
Paraye Ehsason Ki Kya Kadr Karein,
Jab Apne Sapno Ke Liye Hi Waqt Nahi.
Tu Hi Bata E Zindagi,
Iss Zindagi Ka Kya Hoga,
Ki Har Pal Marne Walon Ko,
Jeene Ke Liye Bhi Waqt Nahi.......

ATTITUDE

Attitude to reach Altitude

We have been saying for something that these are your formative years. Understandably, Jaycees being a organisation of your men and women, your involvement in the organisation coincides with the most important time in your life. i.e., 1) Deciding, designing and developing your professional career, and of course 2) settling down as a family. Needless to say, they need to be given the amount of attention and priority
there 2 issued rightly deserve. But the one important and common factor involved in both issues is, YOU as a person. The success of both these aspects will be your success. The failure will be seen as your failure. When so much depends upon you, isn’t it necessary you take charge of the whole situation ? The renowned ex-CEO of General Electric
Corporation Mr. Jack Welch rightly says, “Control your Destiny or Somebody else will.”
However a very important question arises. Are you competent and properly equipped to take charge ? The one irony of life is that the formal education system takes care of the building up of the knowledge base of a student. The skills, we acquire in due course
when exposed to the world. But Attitude, the one parameter which needs serious attention in order to come out as a winner in all ways, is totally neglected. Attitude, as you have heard many times, is everything. Your attitude is your own personal filter for everything that happens to you, around you, or within you. What takes place in this world
is not as important as how you view it. You cannot choose what will happen to you. You cannot guarantee success and happiness for yourself. These things are out of your
control. However, you can choose how you feel about these things, about how you respond to these situations. With a positive attitude, you will have the ability to be happier each day, make others around you happier, and live a good life. Below are seven tips that can help you keeping your positive attitude going.

1. PUT THINGS IN PERSPECTIVE
When you find your mood is taking a turn for the worse, take a step back and put things into perspective. Is the stress and frustration really worth it? When you look at the bigger picture, don’t they seem a bit insignificant ? They should, because nine times out of ten the daily problems we face are not really that important when we look at life as a whole. You are alive; you have food, shelter, and freedom. These things are reason enough
to smile when you wake in the morning.

2. HAVE SOMETHING TO LOOK FORWARD
TO You are expecting something in the mail. Then, finally, it comes ! People love to look forward to things. Some say that anticipation of something happening is better than when it actually happens. We all have special events that are coming up. Holidays, birthdays, vacations, weekends, etc. Keeping these in mind will give you something to stay excited about.

3. HELP OTHERS
There is no better way to forget about your worries that to help someone else with theirs. When you take the focus off yourself, and give your attention to helping people, your attitude will change dramatically. This tip not only includes helping friends and family, but also volunteering to help those in need that you may not know. When you give of yourself, you will receive tenfold in return.
4. TAKE A BREAK
There are times when the only solution is to get away from it all. If you know that you are in a negative mood, or have been in low spirits for some time, take a break. It could be just what you need. Taking a break can vary from a short trip to a vacation. A walk around the neighborhood can also work wonders for your mood and attitude.

5. TALK WITH A POSITIVE FRIEND
Talking things out can help you see the good in a bad situation. Call a friend and tell them about your problem, or just chat about any topic that comes to you. This is a very therapeutic and effective cure to a rough day.
6. LIFE IS SHORT
One thing to always remember is that life is short. The worst thing would be to look back on your days wishing you could have been happier. Now is the time to take a good look at your attitude and make the necessary improvements. Days, weeks, months and years have a way of rushing by. Do not let them pass while you are in a negative mood about life. Look back with no regrets, only happy memories.
7. PEOPLE HAVE DONE MORE WITH LESS
A common cause for a poor attitude is the feeling that you are in a situation that is just too hard to deal with. People have done more with less. Many people from all over the world have overcome obstacles, solved problems, and maintained a positive attitude through the most trying of times. If they can do it, so can you.The power of a positive attitude is always within your reach. You simply have to extend your hand and grab it. Use the tips above to gain a great attitude, and to make your life happier, healthier, and wealthier.

Believe in yourself

A water bearer had two large pots, each hung on each end of a pole. One of the pots had a crack in it, and at the end of the long walk from the stream to the master’s house, the cracked pot arrived only half full. The poor cracked pot was ashamed of its own imperfection. It spoke to the water bearer one day, “I am ashamed of myself, and I want to apologize to you. I have been able to deliver only half my load because this crack is my side. Because of my flaws, you don’t get full value from your efforts.”
The water bearer replied, “As we return to the master’s house, I want you to notice the beautiful flowers along the path. Notice that there were flowers only on your side of your path, but not on the other pot’s side. I have always known about your flaw, and I took advantage of it. I planted flowers seeds on your side of the path, and every day while we walk back from the stream, you have watered them. You are the cause of the beauty of these lovely flowers.”
Each of us has our own unique flaws. We are all cracked pots. However, if we will allow it, nothing goes to waste. Do not be afraid of your flaws. Acknowledge them... Take advantage of them, and you, too, can be the cause of beauty.

SELF CONFIDENCE

One who believes himself / herself will achieve their goals. One who has difficulty in believing himself / herself will not believe others and they will find it difficult to achieve things. They will find it difficult even to make an attempt. The reason for lack of self confidence is due to lack of self belief and fear of failures. When we are not exposed to a new situation, we will have lot of reservations leading to have disbelief in us and in our decisions & actions. Main reason for all this is lack of opportunity to try newer things.
JCI will provide lot opportunities to get the rich experiences. Members can get opportunities as listed below :
1. Listening to speakers2. Meeting people of different walks of life3. Speaking to a selected audience - invoking Jaycee creed, introducing Guests,4. Participating as a project committee member5. “Jo til mein hai tel, jo jagmag mein hai aag, tera sai hai tere andar, jag sake to jaag”
(Hindi saying by poet - Saint Kabit)
Sesame seeds contain oil within, Flint stones hold potential sparks,Your potential lies within you, awake to this fact.
Please note that sesame seeds need to be crushed to produce oil... that flint stones need to struck against each other to create a spark of fire... similarly we need to awake ourselves to the potential within us.
Self-image is the platform from where all our actions flow. Each action, feeling and behaviour cannot but be consistent with this image on our internal mirrors. To change our results, we must change the negative blueprint we have created over time.
Since repetition created the state of our current image, it will also take repetition to change our state of mind from unhealthy to healthy. This is where most of us breakdown. We simply don’t muster the stamina or the faith to repeat the right behaviours and action long enough to create a healthy self-image, that can lead us to become more than we think we are.
We must build and modify our self-image through positive auto suggestions... those words and pictures that trigger the positive images to give us the power to move in the right direction. Over time, these new directions lead us to feel better about ourselves, enhance our character, and release within us the power to be our best.
We must move From TO I think I will I will try I can I might I know May be Definitely I hope so Okay I don’t know Fantastic Let me see Great Possibly Always Perhaps Absolutely Sometimes Sure
Auto-suggestions must be always in present tense, will all positive terms and should be done ideally in the morning from bed and night to bed.
“What the mind can conceive, the man can achieve”There is a HeroIf you look inside your heartYou don’t have to be afraid of what you areThere is an answer if you reach into your soulAnd that sorrow that you know will melt awayAnd then a hero comes along with the strength to carry onAnd you cast your fears aside & you know you can surviveSo when you feel like hope is gone, look inside you & be strongAnd you will finally see the truthThat the hero lies in you !(A song by Mariah Carrey)

SECRET OF SUCCESS

There was once a boy who wanted to seek the secret of success. One day he approached a wise man living up in the mountain, When he found the wise man at a hut, he asked, "Wise man, can you tell me secret to becoming successful in life ? The wise man was silent for a while. After a moment of silence, the wise man was led the young boy to a nearby river. They kept walking into the river until the boy's head was fully submerged in the water. The boy struggled to keep his head above water level. To his astonishment, the wise man did not help him, instead, the wise man held the boy's head in river water. After a few moment wise man pulled the boy out of water and they proceed to walk back to his hut. At the hut the wise man asked the young boy, "What he desired most when his head was submerged in water. 'To this the young boy quickly and angrily responded.' of course, I wanted to breathe, you old fool' The wise man laughed then you would have found the true secret of success.
Success is a matter of choice. If we have enough strong reasons, there is nothing that we cannot do. Once we have the reasons to do something, we will surely find the ways to do it. A mere wish would not make things happen. It is a burning desire, turned into an obsession that will generate the energy to bring you to achieve any goal that may desire.
MOTIVATIONAL Quote "Not the maker of plans and promises, but rather the one who offers.
